Catch ya later London, bonjour Paris

Another lazy morning sees us packing up and getting ready to head off to Paris via the Eurostar. Our lovely host, Darren, is coming over to the apartment shortly to do our check out. How good is that? Checkouts that come to you. He will then load us and our baggage into the van and deposit us at St Pancras International.

Memorable moments/quotes of the London leg:

- "Mum, can you wind down the windows on the plane?"
- "It's been 36 hours in London and I've yet to see an English muffin."
- Ben, insisting that, "Gurkhas are from Burma". This issued was settled with the assistance of a Nepalese guard at the Guards Barracks, St James Park. Lovely bloke he was too. If anyone is interested, Gurkhas are from Nepal.
- Rick, expressing his dissatisfaction with trying to buy a jumper. "H & M stands for hobbits and midgets".
