Touristy Stuff 2

We got off to a much more relaxed start to the day today. After a lazy breakfast we headed down to Westminster to explore the Churchill war rooms & museum and London Eye. To be honest, the war rooms were overwhelming after a while. I don't understand the need to keep the museum almost pitch dark.

Unlike Australia where nothing is open on Good Friday, EVERYTHING is open in London. Thus there were 75,000 gazillion people in the city.

Rick had the foresight to book the London Eye tickets online. We got a little freaked out at the crowds, they were like the Easter show on steroids and then some. Turns out that once we picked our tickets up, our line moved faster than the line that was set aside for those who had paid extra to fast track their entry into the capsule. Sucked to be them lol.

Tonight we're off to see "Twelve Angry Men" at the Garrick Theatre in Charing Cross.
